Our "U" Gem-Grade Mabe represent the Highest Quality achievable in a Yearly Harvest of Pearls: only the pearls with the deepest colors, the most intense overtones and the most perfect luster and surface cleanliness will become a part of this select group of pearls.

To give you an idea of our level of selection that these pearls recieve we will supply you with concrete statistichal information for a yearly harvest of Mabe Pearls:

• "B" Grade -  represent 46% of the Harvest
  
• "A" Grade -  50%
• "AA" Grade - 2.75%
• "AAA" Grade - 1%
• "U" Grade - 0.25%

This ultimately means that out of a normal harvest of 5,000 Mabe Pearls only a Dozen will achieve the "U" Gem-Grade...quite a rare find.

Para darle a entender el nivel de selección por la cual estas perlas son sometidas utilizaremos datos estadísticos concretos para una cosecha anual:

• Calidad "B" - el 46% de una cosecha
• Calidad "A" - el 50%
• Calidad "AA" - 2.75%
• Calidad "AAA" - 1%
• Calidad "U" - 0.25%

Por lo tanto, de una cosecha anual de 5 mil perlas mabé, solamente una docena alcanzarán la calidad "U". Se trata pues, de auténticas rarezas.
